JAIN VISHVA BHARTI UNIVERSITY
Jain Vishva Bharti University was established with the inspiration of the Gurudev Tulsi a great ser saint and scholar of the modern era in 1991. Government of India notified JVBI as Deemd University under section 3 of university grants commission act 1956. He institute continues to be housed and maintained mainly by JVB in the same campus. Late Gurudev shir Tulsi remained its first constitutional anushasta. Acharya Mahapragna is its present anushasta. The goal of the JVBU has been clearly spelt out in the preamble of JVBU’s constitution. JVBU constitution (memorandum and articles of association) which read as under “The jain vishva Bharti institute is an endeavour in the direction of putting into practice, promote and propagate the high ideals of anekant ahimsa, tolerance and peaceful co-existence for the weal of the, mankind We the members of the jain vishva Bharti therefore resolve to constitute and establish the said institute of Advanced studies, research & training in jainology in context of comparative in ideology world religions, ahimsa and world peace.
The institute is located at Ladnun town in Nagapur district of Rajastan. Landnun is well connected by road from Delhi, Jaipur, Bikaner, and Ajmer. Jain Vishva Bharati University is committed to provide highest quality of educational services to the utmost satisfaction of the students and give them an opportunity to cultivate an integrated personality backed by spirituality and moral values. The practice of pragmatic principles such as anekant, non-violence, tolerance and peaceful co-existence are the noble ideals of this University. JAIN VISHVA BHARTI LANDNUN
At Jain viahva Bharti Ladnun, meditation (Prekhsha dhyan), moral, patience, yog Shibir programmes are organized on regular basis. In preskha international hall regularly 75 foreigners take training of mediation dhyan shibir. Yearly 6 shibirs handled in the preksha international school. There is Gautam Vidhya School & well-equipped Library and Knowledgeable books are available.
Shri Champakbhai K. Mehta is one of the leading trustees of the Jain Vishva Bharti University, Ladnun, and Rajasthan. Mehta Family contributed US$50,000 yearly (for Five Years) in this university. This is first Jain University in India. The motive of the university is to give those ideology educations to the students that don’t make money first but make the person first. Chamapkbhai Mehta families contribute every year in the University especially for the students who have dreams to make career in the education area but they can’t fulfill due to the money.
JAIN TULSI FOUNDATION
Jain Tulsi Foundation established in 1996 with aim & mission of no student remain without education due to money, nobody remain without medical help, & in society all the facility should be available for equal development of society.
- Help to weak & helpless people
The institution is doing the work in the area to give regular monthly cash help to widow women and helped individuals.
268 family regularly maintained by the jay Tulsi Foundation. US $10,000 monthly cash help is provided 268 families.
- Medical Help
The institution is doing medical help to that person who remaining without medical help due to money.
- Higher Education
The foundations specially care those Brilliant students who have capacity to make career in the higher education area but they can’t do it due to lack of money
- Help-Natural Calamity
The Foundation is specially doing the work in the area of help required at the time natural calamity, which is unexpected, & the persons are helpless against the nature, like earthquake, flood, maharani, cyclone, Tsunami etc.
US $1,700,000 contributed at the time of Gujarat Earthquake in 2001 & US $1,000,000 contributed at the time of the tsunami.
