Diamonds Give Charity Auction 2007
To coincide with the 2007 holiday shopping season, the Diamond Empowerment Fund™ (D.E.F.) held its first on-line fundraising event, Diamonds Give, an exclusive auction of fabulous diamond jewelry and unique celebrity experiences hosted on eBay Giving Works. The auction featured approximately $100,000 worth of donated diamonds jewelry items including pendants, rings, earrings, and a watch from some of the top names in the jewelry industry.

Celebrity photo experience packages raised additional support for DEF. The winning bidders will have their photo taken with their celebrity and will also receive the Simmons Jewelry Co.’s Green Bracelet of malachite and rough diamond, with the bracelet box autographed by the celebrity. The recipient will receive a copy of the photo, and all of the photos will be published together on the DEF website and possibly in a national publication.
