The Africa's Angels program launched in fall of 2008 with the appointment of supermodels who use their influence to promote DEF. Below is a list of our Angels.

Athletes for Africa

AFA is open to professional and/or retired professional athletes of all sports (football, basketball, baseball, soccer, golf, tennis, track & field, etc.) and is a non-governing advocacy and fundraising support group for DEF. The program is aided by an advisory committee chaired by Jaci Wilson-Reid, a member of DEF's Governing Board, and is comprised of industry individuals who are committed to supporting DEF's outreach efforts to the sports community.
